Planned Giving
Planned giving describes irrevocable and revocable lifetime gifts that include charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, gifts of real estate and other major gifts. These gifts vary in complexity and can be arranged to meet the needs of each donor.
We are fortunate to have our national organization as a partner in exploring planned gifts that give you the chance to leave a legacy for Cape Cod's children well into the future. Their experienced financial advisors are available to meet with you and your own financial advisor to explain differing options so you can choose a vehicle that's right for you and your family. They bring the resources of a large national organization to the table and put them to work for our kids right here at home.
For more information on charitable gift options and the ability to develop and view a personal color gift illustration based on your own personal financial parameters, please go to the BGCA web site to select a presentation that shows the income and tax benefits for you for various types of planned giving vehicles. You may custom design and view a unitrust, annuity trust, gift annuity, deferred gift annuity, sale and unitrust or gift and sale at this site, as well as read stories from people who have actually improved their family's financial position through planned giving.

What is the Heritage Club?
The Heritage Club is an association of friends of Boys & Girls Clubs from all across the country. Like you, these people seek to ensure that the future needs of our nation's youth are met by including their local Boys & Girls Clubs in their estate plans. This planning might include a will, charitable gift annuity, a trust arrangement, a real estate gift or a life insurance policy.
What are the benefits of membership in The Heritage Club?
When you join The Heritage Club, Boys & Girls Clubs will thank you by providing you with:
- A publication on tax and estate planning.
- A personalized Heritage Club recognition plaque.
- A lapel pin that indicates your leadership in the mission to guarantee a strong and stable future for our nation's children.
- Quarterly publications that let you know how your support is helping to change young lives.
Give Our Children A Foundation for the Future
Boys & Girls Clubs offers positive alternatives to children who may be surrounded by negative influences, showing them how to live successful and productive lives. Since 1860, Clubs have provided safe havens for young people by offering quality programs and critically important relationships with nurturing and reliable adults.
Boys & Girls Clubs give their members, ages 6 - 18, access to dedicated, trained professionals who can provide guidance in adopting healthy lifestyles and pursuing educational objectives. Most importantly, Boys & Girls Clubs equip young people with the skills they need to resolve conflicts peacefully, improve relationships within every aspect of their day-to-day lives and function as responsible citizens.
Your support through a planned gift will ensure that future generations of our children on Cape Cod will have the opportunity to live successful lives in a safe, positive and caring environment.

Matched Contributions
Matching GiftsYour gift to the Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod may be more valuable than you think! Your employer may participate in a Matching Gift program.
Matching Gifts are an easy and important way to expand the impact of any contribution you make to the Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod. Simply contact your personnel or human resources office where you work and tell them you've contributed to the Club and request a from from them. Complete the required information and send it to the Club. If your company isn't listed below, that doesn't necessarily mean they won't match your gift! Sometimes all it takes is a request from an employee for an employer to decide to become a matching gift company! If you do work for a matching gift company, please note that it is usually up to you to obtain the proper forms from your Human Resources Department and submit them to the Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod to be filled out. Some companies even match gifts after you retire! We thank you for taking the initiative to double the impact of your gift in support of our 800 plus children and teens!
Questions about matching gift companies can be directed to Ruth Provost.
